Health Talk
What is it?
Salina Regional Health Center provides civic organizations, clubs and groups with a variety of interesting and informative talks on health care. Health Talk speakers are health care professionals -- nurses, therapists, chaplains, nutritionists and executives -- representing all areas of the health center. Programs are usually 20-30 minutes long, and may include slides, videos or literature. About 25 programs are coordinated through the Health Talk initiative each year.
Who is it for?
Area clubs and organizations for people of all ages.
Why do they do it?
To increase area awareness of key health issues and health services available locally.
