Reiki Program

What is it?
The St. Joseph Health System Volunteer's Reiki Program offers Reiki FREE of charge to Hospitalized and Home Hospice patients to help with relaxation and stress reduction, which in turn, naturally balances the body and encourages healing.

Who is it for? 
Hospitalized and Home Hospice Patients of St. Joseph Health System that requests natural and energetic therapy for stress reduction and relaxation.

Why do they do it?
St. Joseph Health System Reiki Volunteers provide Reiki Therapy to their neighbors who are hospitalized or are Home Hospice patients because of the patients desire to have integrated therapy which has no side effects and helps: in the healing process; soothe agitation; and aid in sleep. Outreach education about Reiki Therapy is provided by the SJHS Reiki Volunteers at Community Health Fairs and forums.
