Teddy Bear Clinic

What is it?
The Teddy Bear Clinic, which is currently entering its 16th year, is a free health fair for children that allows children to come into the hospital, meet real physicians (who examine their teddy bears), and tour the facility.  With a variety of other health screenings including hearing, vision, and chiropractic, the kids also enjoy activities with the police department's "Test Car Dummies" and "McGruff the Crime Dog," as well as Nickelodeon characters and face painting. 

Who is it for?
Children 12 and under.

Why do they do it?
To promote health in the community and decrease children's discomfort about hospitals.
