ST. PETER'S HOSPITAL - Helena, Montana
For Women Only!

What is it?
Women can learn how to look and feel better than ever at St. Peter’s annual women’s wellness extravaganza – For Women Only.  The event, now in its seventh year, has become so popular that it is held at the Helena Civic Center and offers a wide spectrum of free health screenings, educational booths, and physician presentations. This year’s event also featured a Fall fashion show, a fitness demonstration and Salsa dancing lessons.  More than 50 community organizations and businesses have booths where women can obtain education on diet, exercise, pregnancy and childbirth, heart disease, self breast exams, tobacco cessation, stress reduction, diabetes, skin cancer, cholesterol, and many more topics. Representatives from various support groups and assistance organizations, and educational, financial, and other resource were also on hand to dispense valuable information. Free wellness screenings included blood pressure, grip strength and flexibility testing, body mass index, vision, dental, and hearing checks.  Free chair massages, skin consultations, and nutritious refreshments were also available.  Bone density screenings and flu shots were offered for $20 each.
